Our story

From Montana grit to Appalachian quiet.

We grew up in Montana, where discipline, resilience, and work ethic weren't slogans — they were just how things got done. We took that into our careers and built them hard. Rob ran 30+ companies. Summer led medical-device offices producing $200M+ a year.

We knew how to grind. We knew how to win. We also knew burnout is not success. So we made a bold decision — to stop building someone else's dream and start building our own. We followed a proven path, mastered leadership, and built a life centered on time freedom, financial leverage, and long-term legacy.

When we found this 180-acre stretch of Kentucky wilderness, we knew what it could be — a place built for the kind of slow, honest, communal weeks we wished we'd had. We rebuilt the lodge with that in mind: real beds, a long dining table, a wrap-around porch, and absolutely no conference room.

Now we host stays for travelers and Growth Summits for entrepreneurs. We're around quietly — and we're often the ones who set the coffee out before sunrise.
